A wonderful little one bedrom guest house in historic Sfantu Gheorghe, east Transylvania, Romania. It's more like a personal home than a guest house. The staff, a kind, gentle, funny, eldily Romanian lady was charming. Even though she didn't speak any English, I was able to communicate via Google Translate and with her daughter's help when it became more complicated. There is free good spead WiFi throughout the house. The bedroom/lounge has one comfy double bed with sheets, duvet and pillows provided, plus a good bath towell. There is also a comfy chair in the room and a night stand/table and lights. Plug sockets near bed. The toilet with a sink and hand soap and the shower are in separate rooms just off the bedroom and next to the spacious kitchen. The kitchen contains a normal sized sink with hot and cold water, cooker, washing up soap and sponge. There are plates, cups, glasses and cutlery plus pans to use. There is a reasonable sized table in kitchen with a small stool for seating. There is also seating with an umbrella outside. Property is secure with a key for the house and also a key to open-close the gate onto the street. Taxi costs roughly 10-12 Romanian Lei to the historic centre or bus station. There are two supermarkets close to the property, the one on the right is roughly 200 metres distance. I think there is coffee making in the kitchen, but didn't see it. The shower room has a good powerful shower with very hot water if not careful. There was some soap and bodywash in the shower when I stayed, but this may not always be provided. Shower has shower curtain and shower head can be removed from the wall. Toilet paper provided in toilet. Soap in toilet room. Hooks on back of the door in shower room. There maybe a washing machine, but I only stayed one night so didn't need it. There also should be a fridge in the kitchen, but again, I didn't use it.

A little far to walk from the city centre. No local bus to-from property to centre. No English spoken by staff.
