The venue itself was very reasonable and good value for money. There was a problem with gaining access to the venue which I found particularly disappointing. Arriving around 2 pm I opened the key box with code I was given - there was no key in the box. I tried phoning the. Number given but there was no answer so I decided to wait until 3 pm when I presumed someone would be around to open up. Despite ringing again and again and leaving more messages, my wife managed to get hold of the housekeeper who opened up the room around 5.15 pm

Not being able to gain access when I wanted as there was no key in the key box and nobody around to assist. There needs to be someone available at opening times to assist with anyone unable to gain access.

Nice clean room and good value for money.

Had trouble releasing the key from the key box and was unable to contact the owner. Two other people tried to help me and eventually a neighbour managed to release the keys. Some minor maintenance issue (toilet seat not secure and light socket loose).

Tv didn't work. They stated they would then provide complimentary WiFi (which is actually already paid for in the room rate). WIFI didn't reach room 6. Cheap blinds don't block out the light. Towels were like concrete. The kitchen has a sink, yet no tea towel of cleaning facilities to wash up. The communication was very poor, with no offer of any kind of reimbursement or discount for a room with no TV or WiFi for 2 days.

great modern room, very clean, great location.

couldnt get bathroom windows to lock, so took our valuebles with us.

Bathroom was up to date with a good and large shower.

Don't advise booking to stay here we didn't get to stay at Buscar Street 21 due to an over booking error on their part. Which we weren't informed about until we were stood outside the booked property and I contacted them to say the key box code wouldn't work. After 15 minutes we were eventually informed we had been moved to one of their properties on the main road which overlooked a busy roundabout with empty rundown building next door. This property didn't have street parking like the property we'd booked, so we had to leave the car several streets away. When contacting them to express my concern about traffic noise (not helped by being at the front of the property) and other issues and that I wouldn't have booked this property I was told to request a refundand they would approve it. Due to not being prewarned about the change of property, it being a Saturday night and the payment having already been taken we had no choice but to stay the night. We had a horrible experience of no sleep due to the traffic noise and the mattress being so thin you could feel every spring! On requesting a refund and expressing I'm happy to receive a part refund due to us having to stay at the property this has been refused despite previously saying it would be aprroved. Really ruined our Christmas present to ourselves as a night away at our favourite seaside town! Definitely won't be returning.

We only stayed for one night but the next time we come to Cleethorpes we will definitely stay at the Bursar. There was a small fitted kitchen in our room , sink, fridge, microwave, pots, cutlery everything that you would need for a few days stay or there is a large shared kitchen, washer, ironing board, cooker etc so ideal for a long stay in Cleethorpes. We will definitely stay again.
