Bursar Street 21

We were kindly moved to another property as I had requested a ground floor. Very clean ideal location.

No tea towel or washing up liquid to wash the pots that we had used. Only had 1 very thin pillow each.

Location of property. Convenience to amenities. Good email coresspondances at decent times giving explanation of how to get keys, accessing property and info on wifi codes. And further email sent to explain what do when it's time to leave.property.

No hot water! Why?? Shower and hand basin water therefore cold. Very cold room, despite heating on highest setting Stained bed linen. 2 flat pillows provided in double bed. Heating not on higher thermostat setting. No hand soap in bathroom. No full toilet roll given, despite claiming to provide toilet roll. Constant dripping of kichenette tap. Kitchenette is within bed room, therefore couldn't get to sleep.

Very quite, clean and easy access.

The shower was a bit strange, cubicle feels incomplete

Good communication from the hotel. We were told we would be re-housed the day before in a neighbouring guest house, The Gladson, it was literally around the corner and no further travel wise. The shower was very roomy, lots of channels on the TV, enough cutlery and cups, and unlike the last time I stayed with Bursar Street, we got more than 1 towel. It was close to all the pubs, about a 3 minute walk to the first one and about a 10 minute walk to the beach.

THE BED! It was awful! I took to sleeping on the chair, crunched up as this was comfier than the bed. My other half slept on the bed but had drank that much that he was unaware of how bad it was! The room was very noisy, room 2, as it looked out onto the busy roundabout and even with the windows closed, it was still loud. Also, as it was looking out onto the street, there wasn't sufficient window dressing to block out the streetlights but I sorted this by using the throw, hung over the blind.

We stayed at the Gladstone very good room

Half of toilet role had to go buy more. The bed was crippling
