The Lodge

Everything was just perfect for our short stay, Owners were waiting to greet us with a smile, I would recommend it to anyone. Very cosy … comfortable bed. Thank you , Rita and Malcolm Harman.

The place was quaint, and ideal for somewhere to stay for a few days. It has everything you need for a comfortable getaway. We would return, no problem. Already we are telling our friends about the location and how we enjoyed our stay. It was very clean, and had everything we needed.

We never met anybody on site. It would have been nice to say Thank you.

Great use of a small space. Nicely kitted out. Decent sized fridge, thanks. Comfy bed. Nice little place, however could only do one night there.

No hot water from sink tap. Extra shelf behind bathroom door (when open would be useful) and triangular bedside shelf would give more space for lamp, phone, glasses etc.

Lovely little lodge. Comfy bed, fridge in the room with fresh milk for teas and coffees and spotlessly clean. Owner Julie was very helpful.

There wasn’t anything to dislike! Would highly recommend.

Cosy little room

clean and very comfortable . good quality tea and coffee comfy bed and chairs everything we needed for a very nice stay .i would have given top marks but for a few little things all in all i would recommend it.

on arrival we had the wrong key safe code we were more confused by the name as clearly marked The Forge so we wondered if we were at the wrong address this was quickly solved by a phone call to the very friendly and helpful owner.one of the handles for the window blinds missing. didnt like the fact that cant lock door from the inside. sink plug not working very annoying as makes getting washed hard and wasteful on water yet so often done by hosts .thank you for a very nice stay.
