Great location by the port with great views. Family so lovely and the room was clean

Hard to give this one a honest review as our time in Koh Rong was sadly through one of the wettest and stormiest times of the year. If i try to imagine this place when the sun is shinning, then I reckon it would do the job for sure. They have hot water and AC, which can be hard to find on the island and they also offer tours at the reception and a motorbike with a full tank for $10/day - same everywhere else on the island. Our room had a couple of hammocks outside BUT BE CAREFUL... the mosquitos are massive and pack a punch (even if your wearing clothes). I sadly got ripped to pieces by the buggers during our stay but my girlfriend seemed to escape them.

BRING CASH WITH YOU! There are no ATMs on the island and nobody takes card. The only option is to do a thing called cashback and get charged 8% for a transaction. Without enough funds, especially in the rain, we found ourselves buying more things as a pass time and the island is not cheap for the average backpacker.

Location was great, the owner came down and took up our large bags to the room on his bike while we walked up the hill ( by the way, the hill is not as bad as what it was made out on other reviews.) The staff were great and knew a lot about the area and helped out with tours. Aircon in the room worked great and the fly net is a great touch, bathrooms could do with a revamp and good clean but worked fine.

Nothing really about the accommodation, the litter at the beach was terrible and we also felt very sorry for all the dogs on the beach that often had no water and looked unwell.

we came back because we loved it so much! we felt so at home, Phil is the loveliest guy ever and he made our stay on the island so memorable.

Right on the beach, but at the same time secluded and quiet. Very comfortable bungalow and bathroom. The owner was very nice.

The place was really beautiful amazing view with the best guesthouse owners , quite place on the main beach close to everything.

Nice location, just up from town but an easy walk down to Koh Toch. I’ve seen comments about the walk up to the accommodation, but without bags it’s really not too bad. Air con in the room was fantastic and so we were always comfortable. The room stayed dark during the morning so it was easy to sleep in after Nestival (and therefore lose track of time). The staff were friendly and helpful, giving us a good idea of activities we could do when we arrived and were happy to help with booking things. I’d recommend the boat day trip. Room is basic and not the biggest but it’s good value for what else is on the island - most people we spoke to made us feel very fortunate about our accommodation choice.

Room was not the quietest, but this didn’t bother us too much.

We booked this purely for the air conditioning and it worked very well and was very needed! Staff were so helpful and location was just minutes walk from the ferry pier and lots of food options.

Room was very basic and the hill to get up is very steep. However the staff are able to drive your bags up there for you upon check in.

Firstly the owners are super lovely, they actually upgraded to a room with aircon with no charge, so that was super great! I felt safe, lovely safe and a short walk from main pier

The view is great but as we know, views come with walking up. This is not an issue for anyone who can walk but just a note for anyone who wouldn’t be an into walk up a bit, but honestly it’s not an issue really.
