Sweet View Guesthouse

The view was great, the bed was comfortable and the area was very quiet. The walk up is quite far, the rooms are very basic, and the shared showers are quite unhygienic.

I’ve been travelling for weeks in Southeast Asia and this was by far the worst stay. I’ve read some comments about the rooms but unfortunately I ignored them. Room was so dirty, there were even squashed bugs on the wall. The door didn’t fully close, the window didn’t have a net, and the net on the bed had holes. There’s no hot water either. Terrible value for money. Thankfully it was only one night. If you come try the bungalows for sure.

The location and staff were nice and helpful.

The fan was tiny for a room of two. Bungalow was at the top of the hill, so it wasn’t comfortable at all to get out and back to the room. Basic shower with cold water.

Lovely helpful owner and nice view as it is a few minutes walk up the hill from the town. The staff insisted on carrying our big backpacks up which was nice.

Just so you know this is very budget accommodation. So bring your shower flip flops. Just a warning that you will only be able to charge one device at a time if you have an adapter. There is one panel of 3 small sockets really close to each other.

Everything was very good. People who meet guests are very very friendly and helpful. The place is very silent. No noise just birds singing.

There was no hot water in the shower unfortunately. I didn t know that while booking the room and wifi worked very bad. It was impossible not only to work but even to find any information unfortunately . Just bcs of these 2 things minus 2 points.

The staff were so friendly and it was really peaceful even though a short walk from the busy town

Outside our room was a floorboard that was breaking so really unsafe and the toilets quite grubby and shower cold although I think that is most places on the island
