Sweet View Guesthouse

Very clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and helped carry our bags up the hill. The property offers food, drinks and activity booking.

The property is quite far up a steep hill with many stairs. We knew this when booking, but it’s more of a climb than some reviews suggest and quite a walk from the main strip, so it adds time and effort each time you go in or out (personal opinion). There were also alot of ants outside the room every night crawling across balcony, around doors, stairs up to room and banisters. Additionally, the owner made a comment about us eventually being able to loose some body weight from walking the hill, which felt unnecessary.

COLD SHOWERS ONLY, no wifi, big hill to walk up and down everyday.

Quiet and close to the main area. The staff is nice. For a short stay it's ok, but very very basic.

Rooms are very simple and cheaply made. I saw a rat in the room in the night. Only 2 showers for all rooms, and one of them is not even working (no water coming out, just a few drops), and the water is cold.

A very steep walk and the rooms extremely basic so we cancelled the booking
