Overall nice place for a more quiet Puerto Escondido experience

When I arrived the windows were open and it was full of mosquitoes (I’m not exaggerating when I‘m saying like 50 of them in the room). I’m not particularly careful with mosquito bites but when you’re in an area where dengue fever is present it isn’t great. When I asked for changing room it wasn’t possible due to full occupancy. I had to sleep with long cloths and socks. Host initially answered but than stopped texting. Also the hot water didn’t work, there were a lot of dogs barking oftentimes, a construction site nextdoor was quite disturbing and the roosters were crowing in the morning.

Nice and quiet area, room was clean and host was very responsive. Clean water was also a nice bonus.

Amazing week spent at Casa Monika, we extended our stay as we were enjoying the accommodation so much. Super clean, quiet area and in walking distance to the main restaurant/bar area. Beds were extremely comfortable. So much space in the room and hammocks outside to enjoy at the pool! This place is a paradise in itself. I’d really recommend staying here!

Great space design

The pool was a bit dirty when we arrived but it was because the rain. Otherwise everything was perfect

The place was really peaceful with a really nice view from third floor.

O my two days of cleaning is not enough in long staying, the pool needed to be cleaned more often, there a lee too many mosquitos maybe something to fight them while staying would be nice to provide when checking in.

Monika's space is done in very good taste. My room had a lovely view and the terrace upstairs was perfect for morning yoga; also with an amazing view. My room was very clean and there was a cute kitchenette setup w an electric stove top too. I slept very well every night. The pool was also a big plus. The apartments are also very close to the main strips. I highly recommend this space for couples and solo travelers in Puerto Escondido.

Beautiful, simple, 5 min walk from beach, restaurants and nightlife but located on a quiet street. Kind and responsive host. WiFi and AC worked like a charm.

Bathroom could use something to hang towels. Shower gel/shampoo smelled unpleasant.

Beautiful place, great outdoor area with lovely pool and outdoor kitchen. Plenty of comfortable and shady spots to sit and relax. Monica was a great host. 10/10
