It is a lovely, friendly house, well presented. Our room was upgraded on arrival as I assumed we had a double room with bathroom across the landing but we actually had a family room with ensuite. It's a ten minute walk into town and although the property is on the main road we didn't hear any traffic noise. Breakfast was lovely, best poached eggs ever.

The milk situation with the tea/coffee facilities, you get your milk from dining room fridge (being in the top floor, we got it the night before) by morning it was warm and a little off. Needs doing differently. But that's all and I'm nitpicking.

The room was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and the host was very helpful and friendly.

I thought the breakfast was fine nicely cooked, perhaps the experience woukd be improved by more selection and gearing up from a slightly 'domestic'approach..but it was good.

The sausages were perhaps a commercial quality ditto the bacon but well cooked. Too many cussions on the bed attracted dust i'm allergic to dust sparked sneezing frenzy etc.. Bed slightly too forgiving..ie soft but slept ok..
