Great location; walking distance to the Douro River boat cruises, the Douro Museum and the Train station. Parking outside the property was ample and readily available. Our room opened on to a beautiful garden and views of the mountains.

Lack of human interaction, especially problematic if one needs some guidance.

A localização, a limpeza, os quartos são muito bons e o anfitrião nos recebeu muito bem!!

The owner came quickly to let us in after we called, we didn't know what time we would arrive. All very neat and clean. Nice and quiet. We knew it was a 15-minute walk from the station and were very happy to do that after being in cars and trains all day. There's a nice park and path by the river most of the way.

The kitchen needed more utensils, potato peeler, more than 1 knife as 3 rooms sharing the kitchen.

L'emplacement de l'hôtel est pratique près de l'embarcadère quand on souhaite faire une croisière sur le Douro. Pour garer la voiture, il y a un parking privé gratuit. La chambre était confortable, propre. La literie est de qualité. Je recommande...

Manque d' un grille pain dans la cuisine pour le petit déjeuner.

Nice welcome from the host; quiet and clean lodging; comfortable bed; a nice walk along the river to the center of town.

Just an FYI: If you plan to cook, verify with the host that the stovetop is working, because it was apparently out of order when I was there.
