Très bel et agréable endroit dans une rue bien centrale. La cour intérieure et la terrasse sont bien aménagés, et la cuisine est parfaite pour se préparer un petit plat. Très bonne ambiance!

If you reserve this hotel then I would strongly recommend you request NOT to be put in room 6 which is downstairs next to the stairs and closer to the kitchen. There is no sound proofing so you can hear every conversation in the kitchen and courtyard from inside the room. This would be okay if it were not for a middle aged french guy who either doesn't work or is too stingy to make a very small investment in some earphones. Either that or he wants everyone to hear his inane conversations, french podcasts and news at all times of the day and night. He also likes to sit at the bottom of the stairs which is less than 1 metre from the door of room 6, of course listening very loudly to his podcasts. Poor guy must also be too poor to see a doctor about his hearing loss. He is a long term guest so you will definitely hear him if you choose to stay. I stayed here for three nights and ignored it by putting on my earphones, however on the morning before I checked out he was again listening to his podcast very loudly. When I mentioned earphones to him he became very aggressive and even tried to involve another guest into his lack of understanding that he is not the centre of the universe. Another reason why the stay was unpleasant is the rude manager Sylvie, who gets upset easily when as the guest you want hot water for a shower. Rather than politely explain this she prefers to go into a tirade about how the problem is with the guest. The place has an antiquated boiler system that takes a scientist to light and then you have to wait 20 mins for it to heat up and then the water is only slightly warmer than tepid. Thankfully the system was explained to me by the only decent person there, a another long term guest, Stef from Germany. She is the only saving grace of this place. You could easily find a much better option and cheaper, as I did, with hot water all of the time, a very pleasant owner, and no rude self centred guests.
