The location is great, right next to the city centre. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The shared kitchen was great to cook.

It was very noisy as the hostel is located next to 2 main roads that have lots of traffic.

Great location, WiFi, overall place vibe. Huge room, walking distance to the centre, nice terrace. Very well equipped kitchen and complementary water. Very friendly staff and quick to respond. Easy check in. Super value for money, would go back with minor changes.

Our room (#7) is next to the road and it gets very loud, the curtains are very thin so you also get the light from passing cars. Very noisy bed and hard mattress. I'm sure most of the other rooms don't have the same noise issues but worth mentioning.

Very lovely place, well decorated and nice common areas. We loved the vibe and chilling on the rooftop with the great mountain view.

Our room was on the ground floor with a window to the streets. At times it would get really loud from cars driving buy blasting music and you could hear people talking clearly. But because we weren’t to sensitive it wasn‘t too much of a problem!

We stayed a week at Casa Huipil and we loved our stay. The location is perfect, in the center of San Cristobal. The place is very beautiful, we loved the rooftop and all the communal areas. The kitchen is very cozy, very well organized for the guests and very well equiped, we loved it. The room was nice. Check in/ check out very easy,

The room is a bit dark because there is no window. The bathroom is very tiny and sometimes it was smelling bad. Also so cleaning during our stay, we would have appreciated once every 2/3 days.

La terraza y la decoración en general

Great location. Lovely restaurants nearby. Very friendly owner and guests. Colorful and revolutionary vibes! Descent value. The rooftop and clothes drying area are a great plus!!

The toilet has the worst odor ever. It just stinks for no reason even when it’s “clean.” The shower head is very old and sprays water ineffectively. Needs some serious repairs.
