"Warm Welcome, Cold Shower!"

Had a fantastic time here, the hosts were super friendly and always quick to respond, which made everything easy. The location is perfect: close enough to the town center for convenience but tucked away in a quieter neighborhood.

The shower was a bit of a wake-up call, literally! If you like your showers refreshing (aka cold), you’re in for a treat.

This was close to the hummingbirds and walking to the center where we ate and caught taxis. The bed was super comfy and we had a good night sleep. Very clean. Owner met us and let us in and the place was secure.

One bed house was excellent re facilities, cleanliness and location.Very spacious bedroom and living room decorated in style with 2 toilets.

When we arrived by bus in Mindo...taxi co could not find address.Manuela who we expected to meet was in Quito and instead met by Rodrigo who could not speak English.Lots of stray dogs about and Roosters noisy at night but been told that is Mindo.....3 minor criticisms.

We thought we had booked the entire villa-which is WONDERFUL!!—but on arrival were shown a tiny room (converted on-street garage) with cooking burner and a small bath. The owner through phoning realized we thought we had booked the whole 2 level home with full kitchen, living room, outside garden and fireplace/barbecue area. She let us change to this lovely large villa for 2 of our 3 booked nights. It was SUPERB!! (We didn’t stay in tiny place the 3rd night.) Make sure you’re booking the entire villa.

The house/villa was superb! We do not recommend the tiny garage size 1 bedroom.
