Cal Joanet, acollidora caseta a Gratallops

A charming, rustic home with original beams, doors and windows. It’s a very safe area.

The address was actually 32, not 30 as in our print out, so we had some difficulty finding the apartment. Our hostess sent us a video so we found it.

It's a very authentic old building and the outside patio was a nice place to relax. Parking was easy enough, just around the corner.

We didn't need it because it was only 23C, but the facilities list air-conditioning, which doesn't exist. Reviewers have been pointing this out for over 2 years. I didn't check the whole list of facilities, so I can't say if there are other things listed that don't exist. Since the end of last year, the Spanish government insists on collecting a lot of personal data about guests - more than enough to steal your identity if unauthorised people get hold of it. So I wasn't impressed that the traveller information forms from the previous guests were in the drawer in the living room for anyone to copy. We could copy full names, passport numbers, signatures, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers etc if we wanted to. Also, I think there were beds for about 8 people, but 5 of them were in 1 room with a low ceiling. The other 3 were in the main bedroom. And there was only 1 small bathroom/shower with an entrance from the main bedroom only. For me, the property is only really suitable for 2 adults and maybe 2-3 children.

Casa rústica muy bonita y con todo lo necesario para cocinar. Muy bien ubicada, con aparcamiento cerca.

No está acondicionada para el calor, ya que los ventiladores no han sido suficientes, y las ventanas no tienen mosquiteras para evitar la entrada de mosquitos u otros insectos.

Our host was lovely and so kind and amazing. The house was beautiful and you could tell that she put extra effort into all the touches to make it so comfortable for us. It was clean and had everything we needed. There are a LOT of stairs - so from an accessibility standpoint - be aware.

This 300 year old casita has been lovely restored and had everything we needed for our stay in Gratallops.

The communication with the manager was terrible. We could not find the property on Google maps and called for clearer directions. Then we emailed. No response. We finally found the property on an adjacent street and knock on the neighbors door. She was a gem, had the key and let us in cheerfully.
