Cal Joanet, acollidora caseta a Gratallops

Absolutely charming but practical

Although we needed to spend a bit of effort to find the location of this property in the very nice village of Gratallops, we were surprised by the authentic entrance to the house, situated at a small alley. We were lucky to receive the key from the nice, friendly and helpful lady who was cleaning the house, even though we were a bit early. The house breathes a very warm and welcoming atmosphere, with a lot of subjects and things, ranging from pieces of art to books and games to all kind of information on interesting places to visit (a.o. wine cellars) and walking tours. Everything you wish/need is available (a television set is not provided though, which we did not mind). Enough space, large number of comfortable beds. The thick walls ensured a comfortable temperature (keep windows closed during the day though). We appreciated the small nice, enclosed garden (apart from some stinging insects at some hours). Lovely place to start exploring the Priorat wine region from.

Because of the lack of ample daylight, the bulbs needed to be switched on quite quickly (minor thing).

Lovely apartment in centre of Gratallops. would definitely stay again if we visit the area.
