My second time here so everything I liked about it before remains. Very clean and a great example of maximising a small space. It’s also in a great location and ideal for an evening walk.

Only the sloping ceiling!

We loved this place. The barn offers everything you may need both for a short and a longer stay. The space is modern and perfectly renovated with craftsmanship. You can see that the owners really think of how to make a stay comfortable. Everything is at hand and easy to use. The barn is on a farm, so there are lots of animals around to watch, which was great. The owners are very nice people, Gary advised us where to go for a good beer and meal and where to go for a nice hike and gave us useful tips. The surrounding area (Chiltern's Nature Reserve) is a beautiful place perfect for nature lovers. We appreciated a small terrace from which we could watch local red kites. We stayed only 1 night but we're thinking of coming back for a longer time in the future.

Very comfortable, it’s like a home away from home

Stairs a little thin and steep - have arthritis so could be tricky for some but definitely would stay again
