It’s our third time staying in Jen’s Den and we love it. Sheep living next door. Host is on hand. And it is so peaceful.

"Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thankyou kindly"

6.0

We liked that it was quiet and only one other cabin was occupied. The cabin next to us was empty which was a bonus to us. Had it been occupied we would not have been happy as the cabin is very close next door and we would have had no privacy at all. We had problems with our van and the lads on the farm were so helpful and went out if their way to help us. We were so grateful. The host was lovely. Just left us alone

The cabin next to us was unoccupied. The 2 cabins are quite close together and had it been occupied we feel that we would have lacked privacy. Very narrow lanes single tract roads around the farm. No washing machine or clothes washing facilities. No washing line to hang out hand washed clothing.

"Lovely stay in a good location"

9.0

Nice location in the middle of Anglesey to visit all coasts, with a veranda onto a large grass lawn - when we were there, no one else was so we had plenty of space.

We prefer a shower and struggled a bit with the wood-burning stove but the bath was fine and we got there in the end with the stove. We also knew we would have problems with the steep ladder up to the loft bedroom so improvised with the sofa bed and it worked well.

Host was amazing, it was a perfect little getaway for 3 nights

Struggled on the stairs so had to sleep on the pull out sofa.

"Lovely rustic cabin for those who enjoy quiet living and the enjoyment of nature"

8.0

The location was near enough bang middle within the centre of Angelsey with approx 8 miles (or a 20 minute drive) to a variety of coastal locations. It was situated within the middle of pastureland connected by country roads that were incredibly scarce of both foot and vehicle traffic if you enjoy the isolation, with roads bordered by vegetation and hedgerows. Furthermore, as a result it was incredibly quiet. The owner, Dianna, was helpful and had direct communcation with her should a problem arise (such as needing extra sheets, towels, firewood etc). You could park on a small gravel area adjacent to the cabins. The cabins were rustic but equipped with practically everything needed for a short stay, including items such as washing up liquid and hand soap. There was porch with a bench and chairs to enjoy evenings.

My friend was taking the sofa bed and complained that it was not particularly comfortable. Despite filling the woodstove with fuel and reducing the air intake, the fire would not last long into the night and the cabin would quickly cool down to the outdoor temperature resulting in chilly mornings.

"Loved it and would love to come back."

Loved the property, especially the log burner and upstairs bedroom and it was spotlessly clean.

It is a while away from a petrol station.
