GBGBThe location is lovely. We returned as we have stayed previously and loved the location. We ate this time in the on site restaurant and the food was lovely.
We payed what we thought was a bit pricey but having previously stayed we assumed it would be worth it and it’s a Friday night during summer holidays. However £220 a night is quite a lot. As we tried to get into the pod the lock and door wouldn’t open and we were unable to lock it again. We had a lady come out and explained it would be fixed the following day. The hot tub lid was very worn, old looking, ripped etc and only half the jets worked on the hot tub.

Staff in reception and restaurant were a bit rude, warned us it’s a quiet campsite and told us restaurant was very full for booking, we managed to get a table and it was empty our entire meal!
GBin a beautiful area and such nice views outside the windows , river outside your door. Very accommodating called us to let us know before check in that it was ready , parking available all around and close to the lodge. Hot tub was already hot and ready to use on arrival.

I couldn’t fault it if I’m honest I guess only minor thing I could say was WiFi wasn’t great but if your worried about WiFi we’ll find a hobby 😅
