Location, comfortable space for our group of three, essentials all provided: shower, microwave, TV, good sized dining table, character, parking

Reasonably basic, beds/mattresses not comfortable/noisy, may be cramped for larger groups

Lovely, quaint and quiet place to stay, close to lots of places. Walking distance into town. The cottage was perfect, comfy and cosy. Had all that you need whilst staying there. Definately recommend to others. Great communication and instructions from the owners too on where to find the cottage.

A wonderful little oasis of calm right near the heart of Shrewsbury. Such a lovely cosy cottage, very quiet, comfortable, and everything provided as needed by the attentive owners. Would highly recommend for anyone - perfectly situated too for a short walk into the town centre.

"Exceptional"

The cottage is lovely, quaint, comfortable and just perfect for what we needed. The location is brilliant, there are a couple of decent pubs a short distance away, and the food at the Dun Cow was fantastic. The abbey is across the road, and the town is a short stroll away.

Lovely quiet area, with history, small, compact and homely Clean and fresh The hosts provided milk, cereal, coffee, tea, etc which was appreciated as no shopping needed to be done immediately! Very well equipped with everything needed to enjoy our stay

"Beautiful cottage, great location"

This is a lovely cottage in a great location, it's situated in a quiet and private courtyard. Facilities are excellent, and condiments are also included, cooking oil etc. I have stayed in places where salt and pepper isn't supplied. A nice touch was Steve and Louise put milk in the refrigerator, so nice to have a cuppa on arrival. Shrewsbury centre is about 10 walk, but there are plenty of shops around you. Steve and Louise went out of their way, to find somewhere safe for us to park our motorbikes. Nothing was to much trouble.

"We really enjoyed abbey cottage and would definitely consider staying again."

Great central location

The mattresses/beds were very unsupportive and squeaky. And there was no toilet brush.
