Dales Edge - Skipton

A great place to stay and good base for visiting the area around Skipton.

A lovely 15-minute walk into town along the canal. The house was spotlessly clean and comfortable and the free standing bath was a nice way to relax after a long walk.

One of the cleanest places I've stayed in and really nicely decorated. Lots of space and light and was perfect for me,my husband and our 1 year old. Plenty of free on street parking nearby and only a 10 min walk along the canal into town. Loved it!

Very big lots of room, super kitchen, outdoor space plus 2 toilets great with children.

The sofa wasn’t clean and we had to call the host to have it cleaned/ hoovered. He came straight away and hoovered it.

Spotless cottage, comfortable beds.

On a very busy road. A mirror near a plug socket would be great. I had to style my hair for a wedding with a make-up mirror.

Beautiful location, short walk along the canal to Skipton town together with two supermarkets nearby and a fuel station. The accommodation was clean and tidy with comfortable beds, lots of cupboard space and two bathrooms.

Neither of the locks worked on either bathrooms and as we were staying with another couple it did feel a bit awkward and we kept having to check before entering.

The house was very clean and is very comfortable. The shower is brilliant and the bath is luxurious. The ceiling fans were much appreciated whilst we were there as the weather was very hot. The house is very close to the town centre and there is easy access to the canal towpath to walk into town and further.

The road is VERY busy and therefore there is a lot of constant road noise. Also parking is a bit problematic.
