Everything that you need in a self catering cottage. A treat to use the pottery from the local potters.

Beautiful location, perfect for exploring Assynt and the northern beaches. Cottage is well stocked with everything you’d need for a week away. Comfortable chairs Single beds but comfortable. Beautiful sunroom with views towards Suliven and across the bay. Has plenty of electric heaters/blankets, heated fans and a good electric shower. Enclosed garden space with seated area. Stuart and his family were extremely friendly and welcoming.

Not really something that we didn’t like but I suppose it might help others. As you would expect from an old stone cottage in the Scottish highlands it can be quite cold and can have the odd odour. This is quickly fixed with the electric heaters and some air fresheners.

It's a (dog) friendly, convenient, well-equipped, comfortable little cottage with good views - and a conservatory with a fascinating outlook. It's lovely to watch the movements of boats in the harbour. The kitchen is comprehensively equipped, the beds comfortable and it's easy to warm the place as necessary. We instantly felt at home. There are some good restaurants and useful small shops in Lochinver, and it's a great centre for exploring by car and walking. Everything for a lovely holiday. The host was a pleasure to meet and fully welcoming.

Lots of different places to sit and enjoy the scenery and the tranquility. Very well equipped and everything worked.

Self catering cottage so not applicable

Accomodation was perfect . We knew in advance there was no WiFi. Nothing we didn't like ..small suggestion that some wee folding steps would be handy to reach the latch of the upper window in the kitchen and also the top snib of the wardrobe for thosebof us not tall like myself.

We loved the peaceful and beautiful location of what was the perfect cottage for our stay in Lochinver. The sunroom, garden, view of the loch and Suilven were also wonderful and a particular treat for us was the Highland Stoneware crockery service - very special ( we bought a few pieces from the local factory to take home).
