Welcome tea tray set out with two different teas and Scottish shortbread, pint of milk in the fridge and a welcome postcard from Stuart our host. Beautiful garden with red deer visiting frequently. Comfy beds, super clean, good bathroom and kitchen, everything there that we needed. Beautiful quaint little cottage situated a short walk from Lochinver village and lots of good walks on the doorstep. Friendly visit from Stuart who told us all about the cottage's history and about the local area, very friendly and knowledgeable. Peace and quiet was the best!

"Fabulous spot and extremely comfortable"

Amazing location/views and extremely comfortable (beds and chairs). Lovely garden complete with deer! Stayed in April and the place quickly warmed up with heating when needed. Great shower too. Fabulous sitting in the sun room watching the alpine glow on the hills.

Nothing really. It is a very old cottage so if, like us, you stay in the cooler weather, expect it to smell a little damp - but nothing that bad as to put us off going again!
