East Street Beach House - luxury living by the sea

It was a really lovely property, really clean, I think recently painted! The 5 bedrooms were great, from the top main bedroom , you could see the sea. The house is right by the Ryde Beach. Good place to stay to go anywhere on the island. We were 2 families of 5 with a little dog each and never felt like that we were short of space. Garden is lovely too with a barbecue and a couple of places to sit and enjoy. Sarah and Ed were very thoughtful about leaving the basic grocery like milk, bread, juice, oat milk, butter etc, Nespresso machine was the life saver 🥰. All the amenities are walking distance, even the high street is 10 minutes away. It was a nice surprise to find a bottle of bubbles for my birthday in the fridge, thank you, Ed and Sarah xx

There were a couple of minor issues but Ed and Sarah were very prompt at answering and addressing them.

Clean, spacious and Modern with Car park. Very helpful and friendly owner. Definitely good value for money.

Its fantastic place for holiday

The outside of the property should require bit of tidying

We had everything we needed. The house was lovely and the starter things like washing up liquid and toilet roll were all available. There was also a closet of board games and a bag of seaside accessories. We did have a small issue with one of the toilets and a bit of decking broken, the owner came to fix both things in the same day, very efficiently. The garden was lovely especially the hammock :) we would all come back again!

Everything was lovely. I couldn’t pick anything out a thing that we didn’t like, we had it all down to coffee pods and a cheese grater!

Beautiful 3 storey house, gorgeous rooms, bathroom on each floor, so much space, so clean and tidy and superbly decorated and furnished. An absolute delight to find somewhere we are able to take our 3 dogs that is as gorgeous as this and be trusted to treat it with respect! Easy to find. We took 2 cars which we managed to park without any problem in the designated area. Home comforts and “the little bits” had been left for us, things like milk in the fridge, butter, jams, toilet rolls etc., wonderful!! And the Master Bedroom and view, wow wee!! Thank you Sarah and Ed a weekend was definitely not enough, we highly recommend you’re lovely home.

There was nothing we didn’t like. Just a small concern re: the enclosed/secure garden, we have 3 rescue dogs who will escape and bolt if given the slightest opportunity, there is a section of fence which is just 2 Bamboo mats draped over a pole, the dogs will have pushed through the gaps &agate needed something on the bottom of it to stop heads going under and an extra fastening to make sure it couldn’t be rattled open. So we made an extra rope tie for the gate and blocked the bits we were worried about with garden chairs, sorted 😊

We stayed for a family christmas. everything was perfect. lovely welcome large food package left. Grandchildren had a wonderful time (thoroughly loved the little jam pots) and made use of the games. The Christmas tree was beautiful. Very clean and comfortable house. Hosts wonderful communications. We stayed indoors mainly as it was christmas. But excellent location for a summer break. beautiful views over the solent to portsmouth.
