Had everything we needed, beds were comfy and host was very helpful even when we confused the check out time. Good location only a 10 min walk into town. Thank you so much!

This was a very lovely, clean house in a great location. It was a quick 10 minute walk into town. Bedding was comfortable and the house was very nicely decorated. Jam, peanut butter, caramel bars, tea/coffee was all provided for free.

The shower downstairs is in need of repair as well as there are some squeaky doors/floors upstairs.

The house was clean, large, and as described other than the wi fi.We were delighted to see there was internet at the property even though the booking.com site indicated that there was no internet. The beds were comfortable, and the linen good quality. The kitchen had everything required for a family to be able to cook meals.The location was great and the off-street parking was a real bonus. The heating worked well when required,as did the washing machine/drier I would be happy to recommend this property for anyone wishing to visit Dumfries.

The back garden needs some tidying up.Other than that small point the property, they met all expectations for a family.

very pleasant cottage, clean and comfortable.

found it unusual that shower was downstairs in laundry. an unpleasant smell appeared in this room at times, mainly in the morning.

Stayed here before so knew what to expect, key entry good addition 👍 clean, spacious and close to all amenities

Minor issue and nothing to do with property owner but neighbours skip was hanging over which made parking a little tricky 😯

the property was beautiful and the pictures show exactly what it is. everything was clean and neat

3 things. 1 the upstairs bathroom door needs some wd40 as the hinges shriek loudly in the night if someone has to use it. 2. the bedroom on the right, door doesn’t stay closed it needs adjusting and 3 the mattresses would benefit from a 4” memory foam topper or new mattresses. they were a little hard and the sides have broken down. the bedding was great and all in all minor things

We stayed here for a weekend to attend an event at the Dumfries Ice Bowl. It was a great location for that being only a few minute drive away. Also, a walk into the center of town only takes 10 minutes. The property was clean and comfortable, with everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Free Wifi worked great. Communication from the owner was great, and she answered a couple of questions prior to our stay promptly. The small tray of breakfast cereals and Tunnocks Caramel Wafers was a very nice touch. We will definitely consider staying again.

The only thing that could be improved is having a shower in the upstairs bathroom. The shower downstairs was great, but only a bath upstairs. However, it is not a major issue.
