"Dumfries was beautiful, The Old Stables was comfortable and just what we were looking for"

We had a beautiful stay. We tried to return, but it was already booked. We hope to return one day. The house was perfect for my family of 3 children. The area was quiet and close to everything we needed, even within walking distance. It is safe and there are parks and lakes and sightseeing , services and more. We felt very comfortable and had a great time.

It took us a few tries to figure out the door locks. If there was instructions, it would have helped. We figured it out, but we are from the US and Scottish door locks are something we had never seen.

The house is spacious inside - bigger than we expected from the photographs. It was warm and comfortable and flooded with natural light. The location was very peaceful but also central - just 15 minutes to walk to the town centre. And the welcome tray was excellent!

"Best place to live in Dumfries"

Its so spacious with many facilities. Its nearest the tourist attractions. Own parking space patio and bbq grill we had bbq. Its was really fun and they have all things which you have at your own house. From bin bags to all kitchen stuff.

The property was a lot more spacious than we had anticipated which was a great surprise! Lovely big open plan dining/kitchen as well as a great sized living room. Having both a bath and a shower was great for us as it meant there was no queue!

The beds are the only thing that I could possibly comment on, could perhaps benefit from a mattress topper.
