Chemist's House

The bedrooms are nice and you get a great view of the sea. The location was fine. The house has large rooms.

You stay on the first and second floors of the property. The kitchen is rather tired. You have to climb up on to a creaky step to go out what was originally a window onto the deck. That is large but v slippery and you go down stairs into the garden. The washing machine isn't in the house but in an outhouse underneath the deck and it is all rather grotty. Theres no clothes airer and it rains a lot so cant use washing line. Down there is another flat. Getting into the garden is hard and down to the washing machine. If you were elderly or unfit you wouldn't manage. You cant see the sea from the garden or deck. The bathroom is small and on the first floor just off the kitchen. Its very worn and rather grubby looking. Old shower curtain. Some mould on the grout. Weird gooey filler around the sink. Rusty looking bin. So we were not impressed especially considering the price. .

Alles. Een prachtig huis met majestueus trappenhuis, zachte vloerbedekking, goed ingerichte eetkeuken, comfortabele woonkamer, grote tuin en dakterras, wasmachine, droger, waslijn, vaatwasser. Twee ruime slaapkamers met heerlijke bedden en prachtig uitzicht.

Dat er een bad was en geen aparte douche. Het lukt mij niet meer om daar in te stappen. Maar goed, er was een wastafel.

Liked location, views from bedrooms, hot hot water, garden and coziness

The metal stair spindles were dirty and entrance smelled strongly of damp (not the best first impressions) The property is a bit tired and needs some attention. More cutlery, a bread knife and proper bath sized towels would be appreciated.

Fantastic location, right in town. Easy parking right out the front.. It’s a quirky property, but in a good way- very comfortable.

There was a very bad sewage smell as you walk in the front door

Location is central and parking on the street. Lovely seaside village with stunning beach. Nice to have the outside space at the apartment and private garden. The rooms are a good size and views from the bedrooms are great. Kitchen is well equipped with good cooking facilities. The shower was off the mains and good pressure with plenty hot water. The apartment was centrally heated and kept warm.

We were there in April and it felt like the place needed a good airing. It looks a little tired and could do with a freshen up. Shower is over the bath and not keen on a shower curtain.

Beautiful views of the bay, and a lovely place to stay.
