Wisteria Cottage

I stayed here the night before my wedding with my bridesmaids and mum and I can say we had such a lovely stay! Great place to relax and enjoy in a small town with three local pubs and places to eat we loved it! Hosts were absolutely brilliant and very helpful if needed just a message away. Only a 15minute drive from cooling castle barn if your getting married there! Will definitely be retuning

How poor the customer service was from the owner

The date I searched for changed after the initial search. I realised what happened as soon as I received my confirmation so contacted the owner. I checked the date I wanted was available and I could book it for the correct date, so I sent a message to the owner to swap the date but had no reply. I then called, but they told me their signal was bad, so would call me back. They didn’t call back. I called again a little later and did get through, but they told me that the booking was non-refundable and that the property wasn’t available for that date. I checked again and it still was. I raised this with booking dot com and they spoke to the owner. He told them that it had been booked on another platform, but I could stay for the night I booked. Appalling customer service from the owner. I would not recommend at all and would stress if anyone was to book, ensure that everything is correct as the owner will not assist in anyway.

The beautiful cottage and comforts of home from home

We had a wonderful stay at Wisteria Cottage. The cottage was beautiful on the outside and even more so on the inside - so well presented. It was lovely and cosy, comfortable and very well equipped. We will most definitely return.
