Wisteria Cottage

A really beautiful cottage. It was such a cosy stay. We were only there for 1 night, but wish it were longer and would definitely return. Accessing the cottage was really straightforward, and it was useful to have an allocated parking spot for one of our cars. It wasn't hard to find on street parking for the other. The cottage was well equipped, fast WiFi, Netflix etc on the TV, good size rooms, clean bathrooms etc. We would definitely return again in future.

People who are unsteady on their feet would likely find the stairs challenging as they are quite steep, but it shows how wonderfully characterful the cottage is!

The cottage was pretty and a good size for our needs.

There was no information to explain how to work various aspects like heating and media etc. It became cold in the later evening. Some of the tv apps weren’t working. The beside tables in the master bedroom were so flimsy that we couldn’t use them to put drinks on etc. Most importantly, we felt it was poor that there was no milk left for a cup of tea - we had been travelling for the whole evening and we weren’t able to have a drink when we arrived. A shame because this is a sweet little place in a pretty village - lots of potential - just needs a bit more careful thought.

Unfortunately the heating is set externally and the hosts took 3 hours to respond leaving us quite cold on a very rainy evening.
