St Gabriels Cottage

The location was peaceful and beautiful. We enjoyed the walks in the surrounding area.

On arrival the property smelt of humidity. The property's cleanliness was not of a high standard, dusty and with cobwebs. The beds were too small and the bedding was too short and poor quality.

Location was fabulous. Rural and beautiful

The heating never really got the house warm downstairs and the bedroom downstairs was freezing. Maybe a hot water bottle or electric blanket for winter months. No welcome pack. Even tea bags and some milk would be welcome. There was a rather grubby feel to the house. It needed a good once over or at least a smell of cleanliness. All rather tired.

Proximity to the coastal.path, and walks to Golden Cap.or Charmouth. Interior has real lcharacter and property has a lovely private garden. Some very welcome extras in the kitchen including 4 chocolate eggs as well as herbs, oil, teabags. Nice range of books on the locali area, what's on mags and DVDs to play. Nice hot shower and fresh towels aplenty.

Not being able to use phone or WiFi without walking to field above the cottage. pillows a bit flat and stairs to upstairs bedrooms very steep. Could be a challenge for some.

The location was beautiful, incredibly muddy but expected that from all the rain we had, beds were very comfortable. Beautiful garden and stunning looking cottage.

Not very comfortable in sitting room, no phone reception, as we got bogged in mud and couldn't call anyone for help. Just too basic for the price we paid.

Bags of character, great location

Welcome teabags, a real log fire, and fewer laminated notes all over the house would have been nice.

Incredibly picturesque, private cottage in amazingly beautiful Dorset countryside. We had everything we needed, the home was well equipped and cosy. It's 1/2 mile walk up to Golden Cap, and just a few minutes to the coast.

Nothing, it's a fantastic cottage.

Perfect location, very quiet despite being bank holiday weekend
