Liverpool townhouse

The property was clean with fresh bed linen and towels. The beds were comfy and had plenty of pillows. It was approx a 10 minute journey by taxi into Liverpool centre. The road was quiet. It had the amount of beds we needed along with 2 bathrooms which is why we chose it. The living space is quite small for 8 people but we managed and it was nice to be able to have cooking facilities and stay all together.

There was no ironing board and the iron in the property had burn marks on the plate. The downstairs shower only had boiling hot water, despite turning the temp round and round, the water didn’t cool down at all and was impossible to use the shower as the water was scalding hot. The oven needs more oven trays, there is only one, so more is needed. The hob is gas but the ignition doesn’t work, so a lighter was needed to get the gas hob working. The front door needs an outside handle to be able to open and shut it without slamming it from the outside. One of the blinds in the downstairs bedroom couldn’t be opened.

Location wasn't too far from city centre 15 mins in a taxi.

House was very run down, one bed wasn't made up for us arriving when the house was booked for 9, cleanliness poor, decorations from a previous guest were flung in a cupboard some left down at the back of the sofa, very dusty and lots of cobwebs all over ceilings. Sure I saw a previous picture with a decent sized garden but the garden was tiny and there was no large space for a group to all sit together.

Excellent communication with Kelvin, fantastic stay, the house was clean, well stocked and the beds were super comfortable.

Clean, comfortable and near a bus route to the city centre.

The street it is located in isn’t great. Quite a few bedside lamps failed to work. The hob lighter is partially broken. The upstairs bathroom needed a big of repair work. Beats no resemblance to the attached photo of the street which is clearer from an adjacent street.
