Host & Stay - Sunny Dale Cottage

the location, good parking, close to shops, pubs and cafes

there is no safety rail to get in and out of the bath to use the shower, so during my 3 night stay i was unable to use the shower. there were only sachets of milk provided, nothing else, no welcome pack. the bed was too firm for me, a mattress topper would be welcome

Superb location in the heart of Thornton le Dale, spacious accommodation and garden.

Disappointed with the little touches this time. No kitchen roll, only one toilet roll, 6 sachets of milk, 4 sachets of coffee. Tea pot in cupboard was very dirty (outside and inside). Would be greatly improved with a little welcome pack, makes all the difference. We found the beds very hard and I ended up sleeping on the sofa. A topper on each bed would help and, for those who prefer a hard bed, could be removed and stored.

Nothing....owners have thought of everything....beautiful cottage

The cottage was lovely and comfortable. Had all you need for break away. The location was great, near to the shops and pubs. A lovely area to be in.

Property was very comfortable & ideally placed for lots of attractions

While we accept it was a self catering stay, we found one or two basics were either in short supply or simply not included ie one toilet roll, no washing up liquid or brush, no kitchen roll, shower over bath needed either a bath mat or safety handrail as it was very slippery, no basic condiments (salt, pepper, oil)

In the centre of the village and easy to get around from this location to different places. The property was very clean and well presented.

We were there for 5 days but they only left 1 toilet roll for 3 people. They only left 2 dishwasher tablets. There should have been at least 5 tablets, which would have been 1 for each day surely. They need a big mirror somewhere in the property for you to be able to do your hair, check clothes etc as only 1 very small mirror on cupboard in each room.

The shower needs more attention to safety a grab rail and non slip mat
