Stags Head Lodge

The site was great for what we needed. Quiet and had a lovely site restaurant and games room. Hot tub was a great addition. Really close to local attractions and amenities.

The caravan needs a bit of updating and maintance. Better equipped inside and outdoor area could do with a tidy/update. Looks very tired in places.

Homely and comfortable caravan with everything you would need for pleasant stay. Clean well kept hot tub. We enjoyed are stay and will seek to return in future.

Lovely clean, tidy, spacious lodge. Stags Head was the original booking however we were relocated due to a boiler issue. Relocated to 'The Pines' very happy with this accommodation as the alternative. Hot tub spotless. No negatives to comment upon. Lovely stay.

WiFi was really good, hot tub was amazing. We loved how it was secluded. Decor was fab and the whole stay was just bliss. The bath was my absolute favourite! If i wasnt in the hot tub i was certainly in that wonderful bath ha! Loved how there was the zoo right next door to us. We will definitely come back, felt sad to leave this morning

Only bad thing was the fridge, wasn't much space for all of our alcohol and food. Lack of freezer as it was so hot we could of done with some ice for our drinks. There were a few resident spiders but they kept to themselves really and the wasps were a little annoying but these things cant be helped at all!

Hot tub was amazing. Plenty of room for 4 adults and a child. Everything we needed was there. Location fantastic.

Weak signal for tv but able to screen mirror phone so not an issue for us. No curtain in kitchen window which meant the living room got light early for those sleeping in there

Location. Nice size Lodge. Dog friendly. Hot tub excellent.

Cleaning not the best. No welcome pack, ie heating instructions. Places of interest to visit. Dishwasher broken ( but not a problem) Outdoor furniture very tired.

The place was dirty. Needs a good clean! No freezer. The dishwasher is not working. No bbq or bbq facilities as advertised, so we had brought food for a bbq very disappointing. Outside furniture is dropping to bits with holes in - No cushions, too uncomfortable to sit on. The hot tub looks disgraceful. it's dropping to bits half the jets aren't working either. Looks depressing outside. It wasn't enjoyable to sit out. Using a teaspoon as a latch for the toilet door, our daughter kept getting locked in! Nearly every dish in the cupboard had chips in. Not very well equipped at all. The decking feels like you're going to fall through it. The steps into hot tub are literally falling apart and wobbly very dangerous. The patio doors need adjusting they were really hard to open and close. The whole place is in need of some maintenance. Should not be charging people to stay here in its current state. It's a shame as it could be lovely as the lodge itself has potential.
