It was easy to get too and extremely homely when we arrived.

Poor facilities... dish washer not functional, bath tub not clean and dust all inside the property.

The location was easy to get to. Parking on site. Holiday park very clean and welcoming. Hot tub was clean .

Weeds and unused vapes left lying around garden and hot tub area. The sofa had seen better days, leather peeling off. Cushions were dirty. Kitchen bin lid hanging off. Shower connector was broken. Thread bare bath towels. Not what I expected for the price I paid to celebrate family birthdays.

The Lodge is in a good, location close to explore the surrounding areas.

Where do we start?? When we arrived we had no instructions about how to access the key lock so had to ring the owner who was not the most pleasant chap! Inside the furniture was old and worn. TV’s wouldn’t work so unless you have are subscribers to streaming channels you would not be able to watch tv. Kitchen equipment was poor, no glasses so had to go out and buy some and what was there was dirty. Dishwasher didn’t work, shower fitting for the shower head broken so couldn’t have a shower unless you held it yourself, bed old and mattress needs replacing, light fittings broken, floors dirty, towels provided were thread bare and the whole place needs a deep clean. Hot tub was a delight but the outside area was depressing. Dirty, broken outside furniture, dirty cushions and the whole area needs a clean and some tlc. Kitchen bin broken, no cleaning equipment and overall a disappointment stay. This is definitely not luxury and not value for money which is a shame as it has the potential to be something rather special if it was just taken care of and cleaned. We will not be returning!

It was homely and cosy , near to time out tavern and shop. Had lots of utensils for to use for cooking. DVDs available and PlayStation not that we used it as were there for to go sightseeing most of the time. Clean bedding and towels provided both soft feel. Nice layout with nice decor. Hot tub was nice and warm and a guy came to check just water etc when we were there.

Unfortunately outside seating area was unkempt and gate broken. Cushions not just soaked off weather but dirty too so when weather dried they were too dirty to sit on. No hooks for towels or bathrobes to hang outside like other lodges have. Unable to get many channels on tv only used I player or YouTube which was temperamental but as we were not in much we didn’t contact owner. This could be better as most lodges have full tv on. Dust under sofa quite thick as we had to move it slightly after dropping phone under. Some of the lamp shades were hanging to one side as if been knocked and not put back we left them as not something we wanted to touch. Dust under double bed and old cotton buds noted when checking incase we left anything. Bathrooms were nice but not cleaned properly after last usage it was easy to see that as stains on floor under mats and on the sink units etc. sofa ripped along front but the lodge is dog friendly so we just put a throw on front home as that may be why sofa is like this. Earring left in small room off previous person. The lodge really could do with a good deep clean in between clients as it was over 540 for 3 nights so not a cheap deal luxury would be somewhere with that feel and this did not quite have that feel of luxury.

The lodge was soooo homely, it was really hard to find one with the traditional sort of feel. Internet signal fab, able to watch Netflix in the living room and main bedroom. Fab spot on the site. Comfy beds. Lush bath in bedroom. Great hot tub.

Outside area where hot tub is, probably due a little tidy up following recent adverse weather.
