Nancy's Nook

The view of the abbey from the top bedroom. Located in a quiet neighbourhood. Comfortable beds.

Lack of privacy in the bathroom and kitchen as there were no window coverings or blinds in either room. We had to place spare bath towels over the bathroom window. The owners instructions led us to House number 13 which was not correct. We spent ages on a dark, rainy evening trying to find the real house, which is 13A. It is also difficult to find a parking space.

Perfect location for the centre. The property was spotlessly clean and modernised to a high standard. The bed was very comfortable and spacious.

Ideal for a family. Comfy beds and spacious bathroom. Great to have a kitchen and sitting room to use.

There was some crumbs left from previous guests. Some of the crockery was chipped and only one loo roll provided.

Lovely, quirky little place. Spotlessly clean. Well equipped.

Lovely little place, freshly decorated and had everything you need. Well equipped kitchen and lovely bathroom. 5 minutes walk from the town and really peaceful.

Perfect location, spotlessly clean, amazing owners who respond quickly to any questions you may have. This is the second time we’ve stayed at Nancy’s Nook and we’re looking forward to any excuse to go back again!

Nothing! It’s a great base for a short break to explore whitby

Stylishly decorated and very clean. Bathroom and bedrooms lovely. Joanne was friendly and extremely responsive to contact.

It didn't really suit us as a) nowhere to eat at a table; b) living room smart but not cosy; c) nowhere for coats, outdoor shoes, or anything wet or muddy after a day out; d) we had to contact Joanne whenever we wanted heating turned on (which she did do, quickly, but still...).

Well furnished and equipped.

Toilet up 2 flights of stairs. Property was up a hill, which was ok for us, however may be harder for people with walking issues. People walking past the front window. Kitchen and bathroom need blinds

The apartment was comfy and clean. It was within easy walking distance to all the amenities in Whitby. Communication with the owner was great.Would recommend this apartment to everyone.
