Trent Cottage

Very clean and well kept Perfect location for our needs Right across the road from a lovely park to walk the dog and a lovely little cafe Chris next door is lovely

This little house has everything you need and the location is great - about a 15 minute walk to the center of town. There is a petrol station about 2 minutes drive, a lovely park just across the street. All very good. The handover lady is lovely too. It easily sleeps 3 people with a double bed in one room and a single in the other. There is road noise in the single room (front of the house), but it is not bad at night. I nice garden table/chairs/bench to enjoy the outside, and even a small conservatory which is nice for reading.

Some of the extra linens smelt a little musty - probably not been used for a while. Perhaps scent boosters in the wash could help. Also, I like when hosts provide that first pint of milk - and a little coffee (there were a few teabags) so that you can enjoy a cuppa - we had a 5 hour drive getting there! This is not a reflection on Trent Cottage, just to owners on general - a few pounds on a little "welcome" set up (tea, coffee. milk, sugar and maybe a packet of biscuits) would elevate the review to a solid 10

We enjoyed the spaciousness of the cottage and different living spaces. The kitchen was well equipped.

It had everything we needed, was perfectly clean and comfortable, in a convenient location. Plenty of space, all the kitchen items needed, comfortable beds, and it was quiet. Lovely welcome from Chris as well.

Everything you need for shot stays the location was excellent for us easy to get to our planned trips

The Internet connection is very weak

Comfortable clean and tidy. Good location and everything you need.

Parking was an issue as there was no parking and we had a van so had to park down the street. The bed was extremely uncomfortable I went down stairs and slept on the sofa. Signs everywhere with strictly no on everything felt a bit like being a child.

Very clean, well equipped, comfortable beds. "Change over lady" lives next door so easy to contact re any problems. Interesting town & house within walking distance of centre. Short let available which is useful for travelling north.

Road noisy early in the morning but not applicable to back bedroom. But I wouldn't let that put me off staying again.
