A very clean and well cared for little abnb.

Parking is an issue here.. if you are unlucky you can end up-(as we did on two occassions) parking away from the property.. the parking is not allocated to the property so you cannot rely on being able to park outside, or close by. No bins upstairs, really steep staicase- broken toilet seat.

The property is well equipped and centrally located. Parking is easy also.

Best bed we have ever slept in on holiday , great facilities lots of little details most places don't have. Fantastic location for everything.

Perfect location. Back yard enclosed which was ideal for the dog. Very clean and cosy.

Couldn’t find a hair dryer and when the rain came the water ran down through the window and soaked the bathroom floor and toilet rolls. To be fair it was a huge cloud burst of rain not a shower as such.

Very quiet at night despite being on a road that's quite busy during the day. Lovely sun room and small garden. Comfortable beds. Large bathroom with plenty hot water and pressure.

Could do with small rubbish bins in bathroom and bedrooms. Waste bins in kitchen need labelling so we know which one to use. Don't know if they have these in Newark but a composting caddy with bag would be good.

The whole house was very clean and well kept. The living room was snug, but cosy with good low level lighting and had a good sofa and seating in for the three of us. The kitchen and conservatory made a great place for the dog to sleep at night as the door to the hallways closed leaving her with plenty of space to roam. It had everything we needed for our stay, and the garden / yard was nice to sit in. I was worried that being on a main road it would be noisy, but I couldn't hear anything from the back bedroom.

There we just a few niggly things that could have improved our stay. The stairs are rather steep but have handrails, so no issue there. But, at the top of the stairs there is quite a deep step either side. At night, going from the main bedroom down a steep step then up another steep step was quite tricky for someone with dodgy knees. I don't think this would have stopped us booking, it just would have been good to know before hand. Another small thing is the end of the main bed juts out, and there is a chair close by so it's a little difficult to get around. I cracked my knee on this several times. I would suggest moving the chair. Any finally... There is a door to the basement in the kitchen. This freaked out my son as there was no lock on the outside of the door and he was convinced someone was going to come through it in the middle of the night! (Please pop a lock on there so parents can get a better nights sleep!)
