2 Bedroom Lodge, OG30, Shanklin, Isle of Wight

Very spacious and homely. Everything we needed.

Nothing at all as it was perfect

Lovely lodge iñ an excellent location. Very comfortable and clean

Only problem was a bird scarer in the field which was firing from 6 am every day

A nice clean Lodge Quiet corner,nice veranda overlooking farmland ,(though not end of row more lodges added ) Ample comfortable space and well equipped Central to shops and restaurants Nearest supermarket 5 mins walk as was the Town centre Old village walkable if no mobility problems A Welcome pack tea/coffee /milk & sweet treat when arriving after long day of travel . Washing up liquid ,sinkcloth & dishwasher tabs provided which was helpful Overall a nice place to be based Beach 15 mins walk Downhill / Steep uphill No need for car as bus stops & Train walking distance to connect to other areas of island.

Not a complaint,but worth a mention as this lowered our rating More attention needed to cleaning of outdide space.,Glass balustrade and deck area were very dirty Which impacts on the nice outside furnishings & seating area. Suggest basic condiments salt / pepper be part of welcome pack. More toilet roll & hand soap to each bathroom especially if you have long term guests (7/14 days) Also consider supplying shower towel along side the hand towel as this item adds to luggage wieght if travelling on public transport..

A little tired

Good location but images are old and we thought we were at the end and had a view of fields, but there were new lodges there.

dead plants, old pans, no salt and pepper, felt like it had been forgotten

Such a well looked after and comfortable property, with such peaceful views from the balcony. There are amazing walks so close by and easy access to train station. It was an amazing stay and would quite happily go back again!
