The Malt House, Portree

Awesome house, fantastic location. Comfortable beds.

Slightly leaking toilet, more rubbish bags would be good. Tried to turn heaters down but had issues.

Location was easy to get to; Portree town center is quick walk away

Its not really a complaint., Because it was already outstanding .but more suggestions of small things to make it even better - 1) kitchen towels, and 2) a couple of throws on living room sofas

We liked everything about the place. The price matches the location, facilities, etc. Hosts have clear instructions and understand the guests needs. Would definitely come again next time.

The location of The Malt House is brilliant - handy for the town of Portree and fairly central on Skye. The quirky upside down layout made it interesting and it was super cosy with the air source heat pump. The beds were very comfortable.

For an expensive property, I was disappointed with the standard of decoration. Chipped paintwork and mould in the bathroom really let it down. Would benefit from more kitchen utensils for those who want do not want to eat out

No communication when requesting information Heating was operational, it was v cool at night 7 degrees

Location was perfect. Secluded and only 5 mins walk from middle of Portree. House was simply furnished but spacious and comfortable. We felt at home straight away.

Gar to find at first.

The location is perfect, walking distance to Portree center and to beautiful hikes. The house is spacey, cosy, and a bit hidden away, feeling private. The TV has access to streaming services. We really enjoyed it.

We wanted to heat pizza one evening and discovered that there was a problem with the oven door. The insulating glass plate was loose. Hopefully the hosts will repair it.

Location was excellent. House was really comfortable and had everything you needed. Great selection of books and games.
