King's Head Cottage

Well finished property and very clean. Comfy beds and a good shower. It had its own parking space which was a bonus. And the location at the bottom of the Bourne couldn’t have been bettered for our purposes

We love the place. Perfect locatio. Beautiful interior and yard. Comfortable beds. Hot water and hot towel rail. Anything one will need. Washing up liquid, sugar, salt, well set up kitchen,

BOTHING

We hebben een heerlijke vakantieweek gehad in Hastings. De accommodatie was van alle gemakken voorzien. Alles wat we nodig hadden aan apparatuur was aanwezig, evenals benodigdheden als toiletpapier, afwasmiddel, een sponsje en vuilniszakken. Verder waren er duidelijke instructies aanwezig en bij vragen reageerden de verhuurders vriendelijk en snel. Daarbij was het super om een eigen parkeerplek te hebben en de locatie was top!

Niks viel tegen wat de accommodatie betreft. Wat wel vervelend was, was dat er iedere keer als we een deur of raam open deden om even te luchten, een walm wietlucht naar binnen kwam waaien. Er werd door een van de buren zowat de hele dag wiet gerookt. Dat was echt wel vies... Maar dat is niets ten nadele van de verhuurders; die waren supervriendelijk en hebben wat vergeten spullen van ons nagestuurd.

Perfect location with invaluable parking, lovely decor, clean tidy, all we could need, fab court yard, all the town has to offer on your door step. We would recommend webbs at rock a nore and nazzar( a further walk towards pier) and the local crown pub, but just across the road and up the hill,. The board game shop is fab next door, good coffee and food , small charge for use if a board game, friendly staff too. Great to explore this lovely town over the period of our stay without having to move the car.

We were there in a heat wave, would be good to have a better fitting blind on the landing as majority of the heat is from that window, keeping the bedroom doors and blinds shut kept the rooms reasonably cool for the night ahead though, only a minor thing The fan on the landing worked well but had to keep bedroom door open, which meant light from landing coming in early if you like it dark when sleeping. So just take a sleeping mask , fans in each room when the height of summer may be better🙂

Es war alles vorhanden und sehr sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Schöne Lage und Parkplatz vor dem Haus.

Sehr einfacher und unkomplizierter Kontakt zum Vermieter. Sehr sauber. Prima Ausstattung, bequeme Betten und top Lage. Der Parkplatz ist in Hastings Gold wert. Einkaufsstraße, Strand, Aktivitäten und Pubs sind fußläufig erreichbar.

Das Häuschen befindet sich direkt an der Hauptstraße in der Oldtown von Hastings. Es ist eines der wenigen, die einen eigenen Parkplatz haben. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, wenn man die Größe der Wohnung bedenkt. Man hat einen kleinen Garten im Innenhof und 2 geräumige Schlafzimmer. Im Wohnzimmer gibt es einen TV, allerdings ohne Deutsche Programm. Man muss schon seinen eigenen Account von Streamingdiensten mitbringen. Toll ist die direkte Lage, man ist in 5 Minuten am Strand in in 3 Minuten im Pub. Auch hat man die Straße kaum gehört. Der Ort selbst hat eine Menge zu bieten, schöne alte nostalgische Ladenstraßen, das Castle, die Cliffs für Wanderungen usw. Der kleine Laden direkt gegenüber hat Dinge für den täglichen Bedarf und eine sehr nette Verkäuferin. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen.

Zu beanstanden haben wir eigentlich nichts. Wenn es stört, es gibt keinen Geschirrspüler. Steht aber auch so in der Anzeige.

The property was in an excellent location very close to the old town, the beach and Hastings Contemporary. The property was very clean and had everything that you would need for a stay.

We stayed during a heat wave and although there was a fan in the property we couldn't open the windows at night for the sound of sea gulls and the smell of cannabis from an adjoining property (both of which obviously not the fault of the property owners)
