The Lodge

Great location for exploring Norfolk, most places are only 30 minutes away with Wroxham only a 10 minute drive. Lodge was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The little back patio is a suntrap late afternoon and we usually sat there for drinks most days on our return. Its our second visit and we can't fault it. Other reviews mention the road , however it isn't an issue in the evenings it goes fairly quiet. In compensation there is no people noise, we never saw or heard a soul the 10 days when home at the Lodge. The owner is quick to respond to any messages and queries , communication is great. I can confidently recommend .

Nothing we can't fault it.

Beds were a little soft but that is a personal choice just a silly thing but doors were very creaky need a bit of oil also road noise was very loud. Nice touch with cookies and wine but a pint of milk would have been good

There is nothing to complain about with the property.

This is the second stay I have had at this address and it is always so nice to stay at, I go there when I am working local so its nice to stay some where I can cook instead of being in a hotel, the lodge is always clean and there is always a tasty pack of cookies and bottle of bubbly on arrival looking forward to staying there again soon

Could not fault this property. My husband commented it was better than the photos ( we have had a few disappointments in the past!) So liked everything ! Beds, bedding, shower, towels ,seating , layout, kitchen equipment,decor, temperature location , parking . Home from home accomodation . There's an outside seating area . Gets sun in the morning so good to have breakfasts outside. Welcome pack, communication

Nothing. It is on a main road , but not noisy , perhaps that's the only thing if you have toddlers, but door is at the back of the property so access is not straight onto the road
