"Lovely and peaceful with delightful animals!"

Lovely spot! Easy to access. Felt rural and very peaceful but the local roads were good and felt easy to drive along. We loved the animals that could be fed with little bags of £1 feed. We could see the donkeys and goats from the lounge and they were entertaining and very relaxing to watch. The play area was really fun for our children to use 3-6 years old- great trampoline, swings and slide. Really nice and cosy even on a chilly, wet day. We used the fire pit one evening on the private patio. Also handy was the enclosed garden so we didn’t need to worry about our dog wandering off.

Very cosy rooms, attention to detail is everywhere. A lovely location, great outdoors area for kids to play. Table tennis was our favourite.

"Great place to enjoy a break."

Lovely clean lodge with everything you need. Donkeys and goats on one side of the enclosed garden and chickens and ducks on the other. Lovely views of the countryside. Owners are very welcoming.

The cottage is nice and well equipped and the view from the cottage is excellent. It is lovely to be surrounded by donkeys, rabbits, ducks, chickens and not least a tortoise. The hosts were very friendly and we can definitely recommend the place.

"Simply The Best"

Sunrise Lodge and Everything was awesome - there was nothing needed. Fabulous location, Tea coffee and coffee pods supplied plus milk in fridge. Cleaning products and towels Nicola was kind welcoming and so very helpful with local pubs and taxis. The Lodge was spotlessly clean yet dog friendly - donkeys and goats grazing outside in paddocks. Ducks and chickens next door. Lovely children's play area ⭐❤️we are definitely going to return and the local pub The Brewery is a short walk with great food and hospitality too.

"Beautiful countryside views, surrounded by farm animals, caring hosts - perfect!"

Fantastic location and a lovely little lodge. Really gorgeous and relaxing. The hosts were very friendly and caring and a special mention to their son and his friend who were really friendly, professional and helpful. Hats off to them, they've got all the skills :-)

I'm a bit of a stickler for a decent matress and if I had to fault anything it would be that. Nothing else.

Seeing the animals from all the windows. Extremely well equipped accommodation. Friendly hosts. Good value for money.Spacious outdoor area.
