"Loved it, very relaxing!"

A spacious and clean property with a lovely welcome basket. The kitchen was adequately 'tooled up' for our needs and there were some coffee, tea, condiments and oil for use. The bed was clean and very comfy. The garden was secure. The shower was lovely. My husband met the hosts and said they were very nice, even offering to dog sit for our elderly pooch if needed. The village is quiet but there is a local shop close by and a great restaurant a short walk away. The area has many lovely walks. The carpet is scarily white (a little intimidating if, like us, you have a big dog!) but they did provide a dog towel!

The bi-fold bathroom door with a slight gap down the middle, directly in front of the toilet - a little disconcerting for those of us who are self-concious! (Narrow s/a draught excluder strip could fill this perhaps?)

The bed was very comfortable, large lounge with smart tv, well equipped kitchen and good shower. Pretty gardens very quiet. Only 30 minutes easy drive to Edinburgh. The owners were very helpful and responsive.

Nothing really, the part you are renting is on the left hand side not the front bit and be careful if backing into the driveway as very hard to see the drop as my husband nearly put the wheels down it.

Central hearing on would have been nice as nights where a little cold even in May! And a starter pack of logs!
