Very well equipped with quality facilities, very comfy bed. Tastefully decorated throughout. Ability to park car just outsde the building

Nothing in the property to criticise

My family had such a relaxing break away at The Stables. I have some wonderful sun rise and sun set photographs from the property during our break. The property has everything you need plenty of car parking, gated access for privacy and keeping a small child nearby in our case who wanted to get stuck in as a farmer. The family have cows, horses, chickens and dogs and we were allowed to explore and do as we pleased whilst visiting. The walk in shower room was immaculate condition with towels and toiletries provided. Kitchen diner living section is all open plan. We took our air fried from home and really enjoyed meals around the large dining table and on the picnic bench outside each breakfast and evening. Living area is set to a premium quality with gorgeous curtains and blankets for a cosy evening. The beds our son was amazing by the feature wall paper finding different things in it as he got ready for bed after busy days out exploring. It was so comfortable and there is lots of storage to unpack cases and really make yourself at home. During our trip we visiting Torcross Beach (lovely fish and chips) Woodlands Family Adventure Park (with a weekly return pass) South Milton Sands (cafe is busy and expensive would recommend taking a picnic) beautiful sandy beach Salcombe via Bonfire Hill Park and Ride our favourite day crabbing and getting ice cream

The Stables postcode by Sat nav took us the wrong way on arrival. The host Laura was great of telling us the most direct route for future trips which takes 8-10 minutes of single track road so you have to be prepared to lower your pace of life expectation and make allowances for more confident drivers in the local area who may come towards you at pace and you have to reverse and give way. We always gave our day excursions a curfew to be back to the property before it was getting dark to avoid issues of visibility.
