Cross Haw Cottage

Beautiful quiet area. Very peaceful. Our own Red Squirrel!!! Very well equipped and very comfortable.

The property was very cold when we arrived, but we soon worked out turning on the heaters. As it was very cold and snowy we could have done with a bit more wood for the log burner for the first night. Also the lighter wasn't working. Luckily my husband was able to light paper on the toaster to get the fire going !!!

What a lovely little hideaway! Really cosy & great facilities including super-comfy bed, lovely soft bedding, great kitchen diner & lovely cosy lounge. A lovely stay!

For those over 6 foot / 1.8m tall, the uppermost showerhead, which is fixed into the celing of the shower cubicle, is too low to use easily - lovely shower & bathroom otherwise. Adding a dishwasher to the already excellent kitchen would be perfect 😀

Beautiful cottage in stunning location, near to the beautiful Cautley Spout. Exceptional finish to the decor and so comfortable. Spotlessly clean. The hosts were so friendly and on-hand if needed, lovely people. We would definitely stay again!
