Cottages at Woodlands, Grooms Cottage

The Cottage was in a good location for visiting places in the Isle of Purbeck and South Dorset. Located in a very rural quiet location. The cottage was spacious, with open plan lounge and Kitchen, large wet room bathroom. Bed was comfortable.

We have stayed in over 90 places with Booking.com, but we will remember Grooms Cottage as being outstanding! If you are seeking the tranquility of the English countryside, I'd say look no further- and we heard a cuckoo! The hosts, Martin and Gwen, have done a really superb conversion, with every possible comfort ,while still retaining the character of the farm building.They were also very generous in leaving a range of essentials such as tea, cake, milk, a bottle of wine, and best of all, six newly-laid eggs from their own hens. We will definitely come again!

Everything. It was a wonderful cottage to stay in , the welcome pack of cake and wine, eggs and biscuits was fantastic spices and all cooking utensils available.

The barn was very comfortably furnished and very well equipped. I liked the details which make a stay special, the environmentally friendly body wash and shampoo, the surprise goodies such as coffee, a local apple cake, eggs etc... which were very welcome. Our hosts were very welcoming. We'll definitely stay there again!

A fabulous place! It has all the amenities one could want. Hosts were great. Welcome pack was a thoughtful addition. Thank you!

2nd stay here and it's lovely. Great for nature - we saw the barn owl and a tawny owl from the garden
