Cottages at Woodlands, Grooms Cottage

The host was very helpful and there was a wonderful welcome pack. It had all that we needed for a perfect week away. Location was perfect, close to amenities but still secluded and quiet. I would highly recommend.

Decor tasteful. Kitchen well equipped. Good outside seating. Rural setting but also near Wareham, which is good for groceries with good parking. Excellent welcome pack. Attentive hosts.

TV remote didn't work. It was quickly replaced.

We loved the balance of attention from the hosts and their respect for our privacy. A balance hard to achieve and they absolutely ace it. The setting is blissfully peaceful with a lovely long drive to get to the property, a good sized separate outdoor space with benches and outdoor dining tables and chairs and your own BBQ . The kitchen is as well equipped you could want (fridge, freezer, twin oven, hob, every pot and pan you would need and lots of cutlery and kitchen knives, cafetiere, grater...etc) and the bonus is a fully stocked spice rack. So absolutely no excuse not to marinade your own food in the morning, go out to explore the area and come back to a scrumptious BBQ

Nothing earth shattering to improve. Perhaps more cuddles with Archie the resident dog. He is brilliantly well trained to keep out of the cottages and away from guests, until told otherwise

Brilliant location, close to plenty of attractions, towns and the coast. Nice area around the cottage to have a wander around. Lovely welcome pack and hosts were really friendly.
