Spacious 5 bed in the countryside, close to Frinton-On-Sea

Location met our needs and a lovely pub up the road

Bedrooms where lovely only thing I would say some single beds would of been better

The accommodation suited our group needs. The house was generally clean and the towels, bedding etc of a good quality. Parking was also adequate and the location perfect for our needs.

There were only 3 wine glasses for a party of seven. There was no wooden spoons, no scissors. We purchased these items and left them for the next guests. Apart from the en suite bedroom there were no bedside lamps that enabled folks to read in bed. Some of the windows were in a poor state of repair and the patio doors were dirty. Only one curtain on the patio windows so unable to draw them at night.

It's a large, modern, well-appointed property, with a huge garden.

Lovely spacious house, quiet location!

Decor is looking a bit dated in places! Curtain on patio door hanging off and other living room curtain doesn't close with drawstring and a couple of windows that we opened didn't close properly! Some kitchen utensils could do with replacing-sieve rusting and baking trays have seen better days!

The property is in a great location. Easy access to Frinton, Walton on the Naze, and Clacton. Beautiful large garden, lounge and kitchen. The property was clean and the towels lovely and soft. Four decent sized bedrooms. The one downstairs would be better described as a single room rather than double.

There appears to be a problem with the water system. It is very noisy indeed, when flushing the toilets or turning on the water. And as you can expect when there 8 people stopping this can be a problem, particularly in the evening. The main shower is faulty. It is much to hot and it is impossible to regulate the temperature. A child could easily get scolded if they did use it, ours had to use the bath. In the main bathroom you have to turn the tap to cold for hot water and vice a versa. There is also a problem with the carpet tread on the stairs. My 7 year old granddaughter cut her foot as the tread has not been covered properly particularly on the top step, but others are also problematic. One of the kitchen doors constantly fell off when it was opened. Not great if a child opened it. I was also disappointed that there were no oven gloves or tea towels provided. A pair of scissors wouldn’t have gone a miss either in the kitchen.

Spacious, comfortable and a good location.

Nothing we did not like but would like a mirror in each bedroom, some lights/lamps did not work as the bulbs had gone and the main shower water temperature was stuck on extremely hot even after turning it to cold.
