Bowkett Cottage

A lovely converted miner’s cottage in a great location for visiting all that’s on offer in the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley. The cottage is very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Very user friendly kitchen. Good sized bedrooms with comfortable beds. Some lovely stained glass throughout the property. Sun trap garden is a lovely spot for breakfast. We intend to return. Many thanks.

Very nice cottage to stay with our family and dog. Accessible owners. We loved the garden and the short distance to the beautiful Forest of Dean!

We didn’t miss anything, but if we could mention something it would be nice to have a coffee machine for the real coffee lovers.

Lovely cottage and a great base for our holiday. Close to Forest of Dean and beautiful walks. Property was comfortable & clean and had probably the best equipped kitchen I’ve seen in a holiday rental making it easy to cook a roast dinner for Easter. The joy of sharp knives and a dishwasher with salt & rinse aid! Electric car charging was a big draw and owner charged and a not for profit rate. Comfortable & cozy beds and large garden.

Great location for exploring the surrounding area. Comfortable accommodation with the bonus of off street parking.

Very nice location to drive a short distance for walks within the Forest of Dean and a short drive to locations such as Symonds Yat. Food deliveries were in good availability and also cafes in Cinderford town centre, small Local shop being just a short walk away. Property was very clean, comfortable and well presented in a lovely quiet location.

Nothing to dislike

Very comfortable, felt like a home away from home. Very well eqipped, nice design and craftsmanship in the old restored cottage. Friendly and helpful hosts.
