Madoc Brook Cottage

Fabulous location…….10 mins walk into Conwy. Lovely, well presented and well equipped cottage. Kitchen small but absolutely fine for a few days.

The check out time was a tad early for our liking……11am would have been more sociable. The stairs for me were a little difficult, because they were quite narrow and had laminate on, however, it’s not really a criticism, just an observation from my point of view!

I enjoyed my stay at the property. Very nicely decorated and clean throughout. The treats on arrival were a lovely touch. Good quiet location and nice walk to reach the town easily. Great to have a bath as well as a shower. Comfy bed. TV bigger than expected.

Only minor things really ….Parking on a roadside is always a bit uncertain (prefer a drive ideally), but always managed to get a space without attempting reverse parking! :) and there’s always the car park around the corner. The yard could have been a bit nicer if sitting out in. Well equipped kitchen though missed having a dishwasher but the kitchen isn’t big enough and it was ok for a few days. The step down into the bathroom isn’t ideal, especially during the night.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at Madoc cottage, it's beautifully clean with everything you need for a short break. The location is excellent, just a 10 minute walk into the lovely town of Conwy with its shops, bars and restaurants. We had gorgeous weather whilst we were there which is always a bonus, Wooseys chip shop is a minute away and we'll worth a visit. All in all we had a great time and would definitely like to visit again.

The space and location was excellent for a weekend trip to see family. The treats on arrival were a lovely unexpected bonus. A great base for exploring the area. The Indian restaurant and pizza restaurant were excellent. Had a great walk around Conwy and the city walls.
