Madoc Brook Cottage

The location was amazing. There were several routes to take to get into town and all were scenic and quick. There was parking, and a shop, and the road was nice and quiet. The rooms were perfect for us and the kitchen excellently stocked with everything we needed plus a few lovely welcome gifts. They had decorated for Christmas and everything was spotless. We really enjoyed our stay and it made a memorable Christmas for my family :)

This was one of the best cottages we have stayed in a long time - very clean, comfortable, owners leaving milk, biscuits & crisps a lovely gesture. Very close to Conwy town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

We were unlucky that workmen were noisy next door early in the morning but know nothing could be done about that.

We like the area every thing was with in walking distance, the cottage had everything we needed Lovely welcome gifts. Definitely worth it.

There wasn't anything we didn't like

Everything! A great location for us, easy/pleasant walk into the centre of town. The place was clean and tidy and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Our hosts gave good, clear instructions on accessing the property, and the information book provided gave some good recommendations. We had never even heard of Conwy before our last minute decision to head in to Wales on our trip. We were just looking for accommodation not too far from a train station somewhere - absolutely delighted with Conwy and Madoc Brook Cottage was the perfect base to explore for us.

There were no downsides for us.

The kitchen was well stocked with the things you need, the house was cosy and beds were very comfortable. The owners let us know the property was ready early as we arrived before the handover time and this was amazing of them. A little treat was waiting too.

If you aren’t a fan of dogs there was a definite doggie smell which we weren’t bothered about but others might be. Please change the pans!! The lid handles are lethal and they are unbalanced! I cook a lot even on holiday so that was important to me for them to be right.
